Sister Bay Historical Society created a video of the October 3, 2024 presentation, which was part of the Sister Bay Stories series. This presentation was conceived as a companion to and expansion of the book, and begins with a little bit of genealogy and related historical information about the era before electrification. The slide images are available for closer inspection on the More page.

However, significantly more details, clippings, illustrations and photos are in “The Story of Masterfreeze”, which can be previewed at right.  The author also made an earlier presentation on “Uncovering” the story, detailing the research which resulted in the book. She is available to provide similar presentations which can be modified to suit the audience.

The series, “Sister Bay Stories” includes presentations from a number of Gibraltar High School Alumni and have been shared on their YouTube channel. If you couldn't attend the Masterfreeze presentation last fall because the Brewers were in the playoffs that night, take a peek. Please share with your Northern Door friends, relatives, and anyone interested in post-war, mid-century manufacturing history, as well as anything Door County-related.

New discoveries are also shared periodically on Facebook, Masterfreeze Door County.

Copies of “The Story of Masterfreeze” are available for purchase in Door County:
